Survivors of the August 10 derecho have less than a week to register for disaster assistance with FEMA and apply for a U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) low-interest disaster loan.
Disaster Recovery Center in Davenport to Close October 16
The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center will close in Davenport on Friday, October 16 at 6 p.m. However, help for survivors of the August derecho is just a phone call, a mouse click or a tap away on the FEMA app.

Registration Deadline Extended 14 Days for Iowa Survivors
Survivors from the Iowa August 10 derecho have more time to register for Federal assistance. The deadline for survivors has been extended through Monday, November 2.

FEMA Disaster Recovery Center in Bettendorf Moving to Davenport
A FEMA Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Bettendorf will close Tuesday, September 29 at 6 p.m. and relocate to Davenport.
The DRC will reopen Wednesday, September 30 at noon at the Annie Wittenmyer Family Aquatic Center located at:
